

Claudia teaches around the city in neighboring companies and yoga
studios with an in depth understanding of the importance of taking time
to heal the body. She has completed both his Hatha and Ashtanga
certification and has spent many months in different Ashrams studying
with different Gurus. (Her true calling)
Please join Claudia as she
takes you through a meditative journey using blocks, and other props
while in easy and supported asanas to create a blissful sense of well
being that is both healing for the body and spirit. The props allow for
stretching with minimal effort for maximum relaxation. Recent studies
conclude that breath work can create a profound sense of well being and
has actually been proven to heal the body. You will leave this
experience feeling truly restored.
(The inclusion of the breath work during this class is documented to
increase a sense of well being thru increased activity in the left
pre-frontal cortex of the brain. This area of the brain is responsible
for the release of dopamine and also controls the adrenal glands
responsible for such activators as cortisol which may contribute to
both weight gain and disease.)
Please Note: Claudia's yoga class is especially helpful in times when
the body is feeling weak, fatigued or stressed and is particularly
useful in recovery of illness, injury and surgery.
